Shannon is a NYC-based actress, singer/songwriter, voice-over artist and arts education advocate. 

She has appeared on screen and stage from Sundance Directors Lab, to The Kennedy Center, to America's Got Talent, Off-Broadway, on Broadway National tours, Sprout TV, the Discovery Channel, Playwrights Horizons, The Hammerstein Ballroom and more. She has also appeared in many TV & radio commercials, including the award-winning National TV spots for Verizon Fios, directed by Kevin Thomas, of Thomas and Thomas.

After 2 years of playing "Susan Waverly" in the Broadway National Tour of Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Shannon joined the Sundance Director's Lab acting ensemble, working with leading directors, writers actors, and other mentors in the film industry.

Back in NY, Shannon played Scout in To Kill a Mockingbird at Queens Theatre and followed that up with a supporting role in the Lucille Lortel Award-winning Off-Broadway play, Women Without Men at City Center.

Shannon originated the role of Young Esther in the acclaimed holocaust memoir play, From Silence, at Theater for the New City, later reprising her role under the direction of Aris Arbus at the Jewish Holocaust Museum in NYC in 2018.

When she is not acting in front of the camera or on stage, Shannon sings, plays the guitar and harmonica at various venues. She and her sister, Brigid, are Co-founders of Broadway ArtsReach: a multi-faceted arts  education outreach performance and advocacy program.

Shannon is also an award-winning songwriter. Her original music received a 2021 Silver Telly Award for her original score for the Pinelands Brewing Company branding campaign. She also took 1st place in the NJ Shout Down Drugs Songwriting Competition, in 2019 winning a music contract to perform throughout the state singing her original anti-substance abuse song.

Shannon has been a professional actor since the age of four. As a proud SAG-AFTRA and ACTORS EQUITY ASSOCIATION member, her work has taken her across the country from Broadway National tours, Off-Broadway plays and America's Got Talent,  to the prestigious Sundance Director's Lab in Utah, and Los Angeles. She has also  been featured in many national TV & radio commercials, has appeared on several TV networks and has performed on some of the country's most famous stages. 

Shannon has worked with leading directors, choreographers, writers, actors, and other mentors in the industry including Ed Harris, Miguel Arteta, Karen Lynn Gorney, Arin Arbus, Kevin Thomas, Jerry Springer, Norb Joerder, Randy Skinner, Dan Schneider, Annette Jolles, Greg Mullavey,  and Shaquille O' Neal.  

PLAYING A VARIETY OF ROLES

Shannon has enjoyed finding her truth in the characters she's adopted, from bringing her voice and interpretation to iconic roles, to helping shape characters in  new works and also developmental labs.
Perhaps you've seen Shannon on the small screen at some point. She's been featured on Sprout TV for PBS Kids, Discovery Channel's "Momsters" and even made it past the celebrity judges for America's Got Talent when she performed and was taped for broadcast with her sister at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC.

She's been in many national and regional television and radio commercials and internet spots as well for IKEA, Crayola Crayons, American Girl, Quaker Oats, Kohl's,  AT&T, Adventure Aquarium, and the award-winning national TV spot for Verizon Fios...see it right here >>

Along with her Broadway National Tour and regional theatrical singing experience, Shannon is an award-winning songwriter, and also a professional performer where she sings and plays  guitar, mandolin, and harmonica.

Shannon's playlist is eclectic: featuring hits and lesser-known gems in classic rock, country-rock, rolk/folk, pop, and folk genres. She'll even take requests & mix in a few of her own original songs.

Shannon performs regularly on Long Beach Island and the mainland at venues such as Daddy-O, Tucker's Tavern, How You Brewin',  Applebee's, Lefty's Tavern,  Kelly's Barnegat Light  Restaurant, Delight's Artisan Cafe, the Surf City Farmer's Market and more. During the pandemic Shannon performed virtually during her weekly  "Friday Nites at Shannon's house" on Facebook.

Shannon and her sister, Brigid Harrington, have co-founded Broadway ArtsReach: a community arts education and advocacy program with a primary mission to spread the love of music to the community through performances that entertain and educate while promoting the Arts.  

Broadway ArtsReach is also a proud partner with Todd Rundgren's The Spirit of Harmony Foundation, donating funds to help provide musical instruments to disadvantaged kids.
